YourPart CUSTOMER SAFETY / ACCESS CONTROL
Ensuring the safety of customers on site is an important activity in controlling premises liability losses. The managers/owners of YourPart owes a “duty-of-care” to provide a safe area for customers who are on the site. Ensuring that visitors are well protected and instructed/assisted is an important part of managing this exposure. Slips, trips and falls, cuts and scratches and sprains/strains are common causes of injuries to visitors.
YourPart Customer Arrival procedure
• Customers will enter the building
ONLY through the left roll up door and then approach the counter personnel.
• Counter clerks can answer any questions on parts you may be interested in, including pricing.
• Customer
MUST sign a
WAIVER FORM to enter the Your
Part Yard. The
Spanish WAIVER may be found here. If you are unwilling to sign a waiver, you will not be granted access.
• A $2.00 admission charge will be be paid (cash, credit or debit accepted) to the counter clerk.
No in/out privileges. If you leave, you must pay another $2.00 to re-enter.
• Customers are allowed to enter the yard and leave the yard as needed during 1 business day with an entry receipt in hand.
• Customers can purchase any, or as many, parts in the yard that they need. You do not have to specify up front what you are looking for.
• Wheelbarrows are available to customers at the front entry and can be used free of charge as needed.
YourPart Safety Controls
• Customers are not allowed in the warehouse nor may they wander the yard. Shirts and shoes are required. Flip flops or sandals are
NOT permitted in the Your
Part yard.
• Customers are allowed to bring any tools they made need to pull parts in the yard.
• Customers are not allowed to take Jacks, jack stands or any devices/tools to lift or moves the vehicles in any fashion.
• No one under 18 years of age may enter the
YourPart yard.
• Customers are reminded to exercise caution while in the yard and be aware of other customer activities nearby.
